I've been looking for maps to visually display where my family/ancestors lived. The collections listed below are great. The links within these sites offer a vast variety of historical data, images, time periods (i.e. 1920 map), and you can access any State. I'm using the Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection from the University of Texas at Austin for now. Great tool - Thanks "We Tree" for the idea, inspiration, and "Geneabloggers" for the networking platform.
